Lesley Lishman

A Lubbock native, Lesley Lishman has grown up on the stages of Central Texas, playing Gruene Hall, Threadgill’s, Cactus Café, and many others from Dallas and Austin to San Antonio and the Texas Coast. She soothes with her sweet smokey alto voice and her songs of observation and devotion. She has worked in the music business both behind the scenes and on stage since the 1980s. Since 2005, Lesley has been on the Toltec Path studying with The Center of Creative Intent and its ministers HeatherAsh Amara Raven Smith and Diana Adkins, as a spiritual warrior on the path of Present Moment, Divine Connectivity and Creative Flow. She is Creatress of the two CDs: Levity, her debut which was re-released in 2009 as a SIMS Foundation fundraiser including three new songs, one of which won an honorable mention in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest and The Toltec Tarot Tunes, a CD based on HeatherAsh’s poems from her book, The Toltec Tarot. She is currently working on her second Sacred Music album, ‘Optimystical’ slated for release in 2011.”
